Pick-Up Site Locations

Horizons’ Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers serve neighbors who live within Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, and Marion city limits.

A snapshot of the service area is below. Click on the double arrow full screen icon to enlarge the map.

31 routes are outlined and labeled with a route name and number.

The red push-pins identify pick-up sites, where volunteers go to pick up frozen meals.

Every weekday, Horizons’ Meals On Wheels vans distribute hot meals to pick-up sites across town.

Pick-up sites are designated locations where volunteers go to pick up meals. Pick up times for each site are between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. After volunteers deliver their route, the empty bags are dropped back off at the pick-up site.

All routes cover just a few miles and take about an hour to complete. Routes consist of 8 to 15 stops on average.

Thank you for taking the time to consider delivering to those who can no longer leave their homes and/or have a difficult time cooking. If you have any questions about driving a route or if you would like to ride along with another volunteer to experience a route, please call us at (319) 398-3943.
