Budget/Bill Pay Program

Budget/Bill Pay Program

The Budget/Bill Pay Program offers money management and takes over the stress of paying bills. We manage client’s finances without being invasive and as educational as possible.

Services provided include but not limited to:

  • Management of income whether it’s SSDI/SSI, retirement, employment, or another source of steady income
  • Bill Payment
  • Budgeting Skills Education
  • Working together towards financial goals
  • Voluntary Payee Services

We start our program with a budget counseling session to determine if there is a positive cash flow. If bills are more than income, then we start with budget counseling. Once income is more than bills, we can start the bill pay program. To begin the program fill out the Financial Wellness Client Intake Form above.

Our goal is to help achieve financial stability by removing barriers to financial goals. Our program can be a permanent solution for removing the stress of financial management, a temporary educational tool for individuals to become reconnected with mainstream banking, or a family tool to assist with aging family members.

Student Loan Counseling

Student Loan Counseling

Whether you are applying for your first student loan, ready to start making payments, or trying to determine how to meet your monthly payments, a Financial Wellness Center Counselor is here to help!

Student Loan Counselors will:

  • Perform a holistic evaluation of your current financial situation.
  • Review the status of your current student loans to determine servicers, loan amounts, interest rates, etc.
  • Conduct an analysis of your student loans and current financial situation to help you set-up affordable payments.
  • Determine if deferment, forbearance, consolidation, forgiveness and/or cancellation are an option.
  • Evaluate options for defaulted student loans.

The government doesn’t charge any fees to apply for student loans or student loan repayment programs. However, we know your time is valuable and the process can be confusing, so we provide our services and expertise at a reasonable fee. We work diligently to offset the cost of this service by accepting funding from a variety of sources including: federal and local grants, charitable contributions from members of the financial industry, and donations from individuals or foundations. We keep our fees as low as possible while covering our operating costs.
