Board of Directors

Updates 2021:

 The Horizons Board of Directors voted in a recent meeting to accept the following members to its Executive Committee in the fiscal year which began July 1, 2021 and runs through June 30, 2022:

• Angie Hoover, Chief Human Resources Officer for Rayser Holdings, has been named Chair of the Board of Directors at Horizons. She served as Board Vice Chair during the 2021 fiscal year.
• Quinn Pettifer, Community Outreach Manager for The Gazette, has been named Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Horizons. She served as Board Secretary during the 2021 fiscal year.
• Jorel Robinson, Founder of The Big Bang Foundation and Program Advocate and Fundraising Consultant for the LBA Foundation, has been named Secretary of the Board of Directors at Horizons. He has served on the Board since 2018.
• Kelly Edmonds, Vice President for Merit Construction Co., has been named Treasurer of the Board of Directors at Horizons. He has served on the Board since 2020.

• Alissa Carson, Marketing Project Manager for United Fire Group, has been elected to the Horizons Board of Directors as a member.
• Casey Greene, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for UnityPoint Health Cedar Rapids, has been elected to the Horizons Board of Directors as a member.
• Lisa Strait, Vice President of Commercial Services for Collins Community Credit Union, has been elected to the Horizons Board of Directors as a member.
• Caleb Woods, Communications Specialist at Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance Account Manager, has been elected to the Horizons Board of Directors as a member.
